We’re so happy to premiere the debut single from Wild Oats‘ debut EP, BOUNTY, dropping later this month. The Australian band recently finished up a tour with Woods, just after recording the EP “in living rooms and basement spaces around their Adelaide hometown”… Here’s the first result:
Who doesn’t love a great guitar riff? It’s a dying breed in today’s world (I guess more people like the WUB WUB WUB of dubstep and its variants) but I’ll always love guitars — 144 ways to play 12 notes, a pandora’s box of sound when used correctly, and here Wild Oats do it to perfection.
I’ve heard rumblings of March 12th for the release date, just in time for SXSW.
