Montreal dream pop quintet Young Galaxy is back with a new album, the first since 2011′s excellent Shapeshifter. Ultramarine is the name… and there’s a reason why this fantastic first single, “Pretty Boy”, has been blowing up the interwebs today:
Just in case you’re wondering, Montreal dream-pop with effervescent female vocals? Sorta my thing. Add in Daniel Lissvik (from Studio) on production duties again and you’ve piqued my interest through the pixie-dust-covered roof. I’ve heard this just once and it’s already banging around in my head like a loose pinball.
