I’ve always admired Meluch’s stylistic consistency. He’s maintained a whispy, cloud-tinged pattern of artsy folk-rock for the better part of a decade, only delving deeper into those moods and sonic styles. “Margin” isn’t his best song but let’s be honest, they’re all good, and if you’re the sort of person that likes a lot of chaos strewn through layers and layers of sounds and textures, Benoît’s your guy.
Hymnal is out March 4th via Kranky.
