I suppose I have a tendency to freak out over new bands, rather excessively sometimes, and that’s sort of what happened when I first heard Tiger Waves‘ song “Weekends” back in June. It’s still one of the best songs of the year, so I stand by any seemingly hyperbolic fanfare that came from that song. And to prove it wasn’t a one-off thing, that this band has chops that extend beyond doing their best Beach Boys impression (which is a great impression either way), here’s “Countryside” from a new digital 7″ »
