In an effort to extend summer as long as I can, AND because this song is really, really, ridiculously good, here’s Pensacola-based newcomers Isle with their one and only track thus far:
It’s about time someone fully hybridized krautrock and dream-pop. “Bayview” is one of the slickest tracks I’ve heard all year and I really haven’t been able to get the melodies out of my head — not that I would want to, they’re the kind that make people fall in love with music in the first place: warm and welcoming, strangely empathetic, and wistfully encouraging.
