The side project of IGIF loved Saskatchewan is very very tasty. Playing under the moniker Case Work, Chandler Strang creates some summery rock jams that are super accessible and pack enough melodies to pull your ears along for a fun ride. A handful of his tracks flirt on the border of lo-fi/shoegaze but then there are driving gems like “Amazon” that have a guitar vibe akin to mid-90s Modest Mouse at times. Summer is starting to slow down but Case Work is looking to squeeze out every last bit of daylight in the process.
