![zammuto [MP3] Zammuto: Too Late To Topologize](http://www.iguessimfloating.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/zammuto.jpeg)
Nick Zammuto, better known for his work in the seminal folktronic band The Books, hasn’t let his hot streak flame out while on hiatus from his usual fare. His new project, Zammuto, isn’t just some filler nonsense or half baked victory lap… It’s some of the best material from Nick Zammuto in years.
“Here we gooo!” I know you’re thinking… but before you say that auto-tune is soooo last decade, maybe it’s just last decade enough that the kids on the outside of its very first sandbox can finally come in to fuck with those shitty castles that Kanye and T Pain built. Zammuto’s always been able to construct perfect little digitized nuggets of melody and pop, and it’s great to hear him messing with his vocals even more than he usually does. Plus, the song’s pretty damn catchy.
In other news, check the Zammuto store for some extremely rare reissued Books vinyl. Like color-splattered 12″ LPs, limited to 300 copies, that Nick’s offered to autograph if you ask nicely. Just picked up two myself.

Uh, wow. I had definitely been enjoying that Zammuto track for awhile now, but I hadn’t realized you could preorder it and buy the old LPs from The Books. Big thanks for the heads up man!
