Sometimes a song just really hits the spot and Pond are doing just that with “Moth’s Wings”. Funky, electric, and a deliciously distorted – “Moth’s Wings” sounds like it’s from another era and hits an organic nerve inside my ears that I can’t deny. Pond is an offspring of Tame Impala and it’s one that I enjoy far more than it’s parental predecessor. Australia does pop and folk really well, glad to see they’re capable of shredding some retro rock too.

Pond is releasing their latest LP Beard, Wives, Denim via Modular in March. Catch em at SXSW!
