Sharon Van Etten’s LP Epic was one of my favorite albums last year, in fact, I might have penned a short love letter to Sharon herself telling her so. I was excited when she signed with Jagjaguwar and even more excited when they released new track “Serpents” for sampling. Booming, emotional, melodic, and perfect for the time of year when the sun sets too early a.k.a. right now:
