If static was a drug and Brian Wilson injected it into his veins before making a new blissed out tune, I’m fairly confident it would sound like White Birds. The young act from Philadelphia spent the first half of 2010 locked up in an old suburban house, crafting tales of heartbreak and melancholy, marinating them in a bed of reverb and atmospheric haze. They’re prepping a release via Grizzly Records on a limited run print of 100 cassettes. We’ve got the debut of their video for lead single “Hondora”, complete with warm and hazy imagery complimenting their drifting melodies oh so well. Check it out after the jump!
