Straight out of the Sunshine State comes the funky, disco throwback tunes of Dream Love. I was turned on to his tunes a few months back but only recently jumped into his new, self-titled debut LP coming out later this month on twosyllable records. The solo work of Taylor Ross, lead single “Be My Man, Woman” is a funky blend of bellbottom era swag and lo-fi glitchy garage rock. My favorite track, “Wrong Distance and Time”, has been circling around the web for a bit but delivers an electro buzz without the hushed vocals plaguing a lot of synth artists.
