Night Moves – Headlights

I appreciate a good funky style and this band from Minneapolis is certainly delivering a different sound to my ears this afternoon. Night Moves, a harmonious three-piece from Minnesota, craft tracks that contain splices of electro/glam rock interspersed with soulful shreds of an Americana vibe. When was the last time you heard harmonica and synth go together so well? I’m not sure that I ever have. Really digging wailing track “Headlights” that sounds like Portugal The Man and MGMT pretending to be an amalgamation of David Bowie and Clint Eastwood. Yeah, Night Moves sound like that.
