Music Alliance Pact :: July 2011

maplogotn Music Alliance Pact :: July 2011The heat of July is in full swing, the weather feels like Mother Nature is suffering from a bad case of cotton mouth and sweat unavoidable. But hey, it’s not hot everywhere in the world so maybe transporting our ears to a different culture will help with the heat. For those of you who don’t know about MAP, it’s a collection of music blogs from around the world who band together once a month to shed light on up-and-comers from their home countries. It’s sort of like the WTO without the human rights violations.

After the jump you’ll find music from 36 nations spanning the globe. If you’d like to be considered for this feature, drop by the comments section with a link to your site and I’ll forward your info to MAP organizer Jason from The Pop Cop.

Our contribution this month includes a track from Philly’s melodic, dance inspired CSLSX.

Three cheers for musical globalization! Now let’s diversify our ears:

CSLSX – Keep Shining On

This band, by way of Philadelphia, are plenty young with plenty of talent. CSLSX have released a handful of tracks in the past few months, slowly showcasing the expanse of their musical abilities. “Keep Shining On” is the best yet, a perfect summer jam with stunning production value.
