[Video] Givers: “Up Up Up”

Louisiana’s Givers are a band I’ve been excited about for quite some time, first spinning “Up Up Up” at the end of 2009. It was such an upbeat and delightful jam, one I’ll never forget spinning. Well, instead of that tune boiling up quickly and churning out some mightily delicious Ramen for us to consume before moving onto to the next quick (ear) meal.. Givers “Up Up Up” went a different route. It boiled, bubbled, and cooked slower than a crock pot in Paula Deen’s kitchen but has finally reached an undeniable level of deliciousness. After some stellar tour dates, including turning many heads and causing much chatter at this year’s SXSW, Givers are quite literally on the up and up! They recently performed on Jimmy Fallon and just debuted their new video on mtvU today. It’s charming and energetic, everything you hoped it’d be.
