[SXSW 2011] IGIF Presents: Killer Tofu Party

We told you we had more tricks up our sleeve for this year’s SXSW. While Thursday 3/17 brings our yearly Floating Fest back with a vengeance, Friday night offers a different breed. IGIF teamed up with Big Ugly Yellow Couch to bring you two stages of nighttime badassness. So on Friday night when you’re badgeless, wristbandless, and don’t know what to do… we’ve got a ridiculously cool (and might I add centrally-located) solution to your problem. Peep the poster and details below:

Sunset Sessions March 8, 2011 at 5:00 pm

There is an event called Sunset Sessions Rock! in June in San Diego. It gives indie alternative bands a chance to play in front of big radio stations from across the country, music supervisors from film, TV & ads, video game programmers, managers and record labels. It costs some dough to play (like 2-8k), and you have to actually be good enough to get picked, but it’s an once in a lifetime chance to get in front of all these music industry people that can completely launch a bands career. February’s SS had 45 bands play to 800 music biz people. Check out info at http://www.sunsetsessions.org to see how to get your band in.
