The man from Jacksonville, FL is back with a real gem. Unouomedude is known for putting out that fantastic EP last year of summery jams called Marsh. We gave him that slick hypeworthy nod sensing something great… and although it took a little while, “Frequency” seriously delivers:
[MP3] Unouomedude – Frequency
It’s as if Nathan from Wavves stopped getting high for a day to record something actually palpable and not annoying. “Frequency” is a ravenously grinding and dancy punk track, meticulously layered despite the chaotic foundation. Uno plays it right by blasting the shit out of the end, with that taunting fluttering melody the lone survivor of its 3:50 destruction.
The digital 7′s b-side, “Frequency II”, sounds a bit more like what Uno was up to last year, check it out or download the 7″ here free.
