It was fantastic and really crazy watching Local Natives on Jimmy Fallon last night. I can remember back in early 2009 when the band was emailing me about playing our inaungural Floating Fest at SXSW, but I already filled the bill and am kicking myself for not making room in hindsight. These Californian dudes released their stellar debut LP Gorilla Manor last year and are incredibly talented as they are friendly, so I couldn’t be more thrilled about their success. They performed “Wide Eyes”, complete with infectious jamming and superb percussion – watch it below!
