Twenty-ten has come and gone, and while you look ahead to all that twenty-eleven brings it’s likewise time to remember all that was bestowed upon us in the year that just passed. 2010 was an interesting year for music, with emerging bands and genres (trash pop, chillwave, witchhouse, fucking Salem) butting heads with the ups-and-downs of the decade’s mainstays. agree w your #1–gorgeous song. coming from someone who last year thought this was the most overrated band ever.
hey guys! amazing -as always- your list of mp3… for future lists though, please be more careful in tagging the mp3s correctly so that credit is given where credit is due (after the mp3 leaves this website).
I downloaded a whole bunch of mp3s after listening to them on the website and then I found out that all the tags are missing, so i dont know what´s what.

Thanks! As far as tagging, that’s interesting since all of the mp3s save for Sarah Jaffe’s “Clementine” are hosted via IGIF with proper tags. All other links are to YouTube streams of the track, so if you’re downloading audio from there then those tags will definitely be awry.
I’m sad that you don’t think that El Guincho’s album didn’t deserve to be placed on your top 2010 chart!
