IGIF5yr party Announcing: IGIF’s 5th Anniversary Party @ Glasslands 1/29

IGIF is ridiculously excited to announce, in shameless celebration of “5YRS of AWESOME,” our 5th Anniversary Party being held at Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn on Saturday, January 29th. In collaboration with the amazing people at Popgun Booking, we’ve put together a pretty stellar line-up featuring some of our favorite bands from New York and abroad:

What: I Guess I’m Floating 5th Anniversary Party
Who: Beach Fossils (1AM), A Place to Bury Strangers (12AM), Caveman (11PM), Guards (10PM), ARMS (9PM), Dreamers of the Ghetto (8PM)
Where: Glasslands Gallery, Brooklyn (map)
When: Sat, 1/29/10 @ 8PM (doors 7:30PM)
How: $12adv/$14door / 21+ Event (tickets)

Come out to Brooklyn and celebrate with us over good tunes, delicious brews, awesome cloud-based installation art, chill vibes and good times. It’s gonna be ridiculous.

if you compare it to going out to see one or two bands, sure it’s more expensive than some other shows in the NYC area that are $8 or $10. 100% of the proceeds go to the bands, and if you preorder the tickets you’re seeing 6 great bands for $2 each.

i wouldn’t call that “ridiculously expensive,” I’d call that a steal. :)

This sort of thing makes living on the West Coast just unbearable. Congrats, IGIF!

Never have wanted to be in New York more but really IGIF, you had to schedule the same weekend as Ohayocon. :( I want to see ARMS real bad.
