After posting Idiot Glee’s free Christmas compilation this morning, I remarked about all of the new holiday tunes artists have been releasing this year. I can add another one to list as Beach House released a brand new holiday tune via Twitter this afternoon. A Christmas tune by an artist who created IGIF’s favorite album of the year? Don’t mind if I do.

The duo are sure to set the mood from the get-go with jingle bells, the staple of any holiday tune like milk and cookies are a staple of Santa’s diet. A slow moving and delicate track, “I Do Not Care For Winter” thrives off of Legrand’s smooth vocals and an intermittent piano that shines toward the end of the song. Strangely enough, the piano radiates a charm similar to the Charlie Brown Christmas tune minus all the spunk.
