Right before the weekend kicked off we delivered a great remix of Crystal Castle’s “Not In Love” (featuring Robert Smith) that was mashed up by an IGIF DJ favorite: Glass Gifts. This time it’s the ever busy Blackbird Blackbird remixing Warpaint, a band rising so quickly it’s amazing our ears aren’t exploding from the dramatic increase in altitude.

If you’ve yet to hear the original, go ahead and have a listen to a track that sounds eerily familiar to Nirvana’s “Polly” at certain parts. Regardless of the familiarities, “Undertow” is a great song that gets sent through a car wash of keys, synth, glitchy beats, and a blissful wax job that only comes as part of the “Blackbird Blackbird Deluxe Wash” package. Hey, even the sharpest of sports cars can use a fresh wash every so often.
