[CMJ 2010] IGIF Presents: Floating Fest

It’s turned into a busy and exciting week at IGIF, first with the announcement of our new label Small Plates and now comes the news of our first ever CMJ event. After the success of Floating Fest at SXSW, we’re ready to take on the beast from the East. Time for another Floating Fest, CMJ style:

Thursday October 21th, 2010
12:00PM – 7:00PM

Stage One: Upstairs

12:00-12:30 — COOLRUNNINGS
1:00-1:30 — Viernes
2:00-2:30 — Blackbird Blackbird
3:00-3:30 — Foxes in Fiction
4:00-4:30 — Beach Fossils
5:00-5:30 — Teen Daze
6:00-6:30 — Pepper Rabbit

Stage Two: Downstairs

12:30-1:00 — Young the Giant
1:30-2:00 — MillionYoung
2:30-3:00 — Class Actress
3:30-4:00 — Violens
4:30-5:00 — Young Man
5:30-6:00 — Oberhofer
6:30-7:00 — Baths

Putting this event together has been a labor of love and features some of our favorite bands, including a bunch of young talent who will be making their CMJ debuts this year. Floating Fest is officially two weeks away from today and we hope to see you there, saying it’s going to be a rockin’ good time might be a bit of an understatement!

We also wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves. We are Shamelessplug.com and we are here to help promote independent artists and bands for free. We want to bring musicians more exposure and help increase their fan base.
