[Video] Candy Claws: “Silent Time of Earth”

While I’ve spent the day slaving away on some top secret CMJ plans, Sufjan released a soulful song (listen here) and Stereogum got the honor of premiering a brand new Candy Claws video. For an act I’ve been in love with since July of last year, it’s so heart-warming and ear-pleasing to watch a once hypeworthy’d band soar to new heights their fuzzy LP Hidden Lands has afforded them. The new video is a brilliant re-working of an animated short by Ivan Ivanov-Vano and Soyuzmultfilm’s titled The Stolen Sun, featuring a furious forest full of creatures shuffling around after the universe’s largest star is stolen.
