Chromatic Flights, the side project of Blind Man’s Colour member Kyle Wyss, recently completed a short, new EP. The electronic music is fuzzy as it is curious, representative of unfinished thoughts and shifts in mood accompanied by melodious progression. Interestingly enough, Brick Coquina features two brand new tunes and two tracks recorded in 2006 with some serious chillwave keys and synths – long before such a sound ever had a genre tag to go along with it. However, my favorite jam on the new EP is a cover of Drake’s “Karaoke” that I should probably sit on until Thursday but just can’t help myself:
[MP3] Chromatic Flights – Karaoke (Drake Cover)
Never would’ve thought that song would sound so cool covered with keys! You can download the entire Brick Coquina EP for free right here.
