“Older Brother” is a song for the twinkly-eyed, those whose eyes absorb as much starlight as they reflect, those whose lungs feel equilibrious when drawn with dewy moonlit air, and those that gain contentment from the limitlessness of the dark. While some see nighttime as the place between life, others see it as a place of great beauty and opportunity and expanse. It’s the sun that exposes wayward realities and uncovers the stubborn inconsistency of the day, yet moonlight is constant and reliable, always reflecting towards us from the same face.
