Here’s a relatively new demo called “Fate” from Colin Caulfield a.k.a. Young Man, whose tunes are finally beginning to spread around the ‘net like wildfire (with Brooklyn Vegan, Pitchfork, Prefix, and Free Williamsburg all recently hopping on the train). Check out the new demo below (via yvynyl):
[MP3] Young Man – Fate
Much aligned with the ways of Here We Go Magic, though perhaps more straightforward, Caulfield creates layered, hypnotic folky compositions that seem deceptively simple. Using multiple interwoven guitar licks and minimal percussion as a backdrop, Caulfield’s intoxicating vocals shine and sooth with a playful inventiveness that matches the themes he’s so far chosen to pursue — growing up, exploring the world, innocence, and youthful stubborness.
“Fate” is actually an interesting turn for a guy whose debut album explores the world through the eyes of a child. Children are blessed in that they don’t have to think about the future. They experience the world through an imaginative process that makes anything possible… and in that light, the concept of fate (the very definition of a lack of control) seems particularly disenchanting. Even still, staying true to his proven lyrical style, Caulfield provides a bit of optimism throughout the song: “It’s no suprise / Fate isn’t something new / oftentimes it’s not what you do.”

Don't be surprised mate, no one shares your tastes obviously. Who the FFF listens to Justin Biber, beside you?
Sincerly yours,

^^^^ insecure person worried about people thinking he might listen to justin bieber if he mentions his name.
its a pretty clear and understandable comparison that most people know about justin beiber, whether you listen to him or not.
Making a reference to Justin Bieber just shows how smart and relevant you are. I'm sorry I'm not aware of what's goin on in mainstream america. Should IGIF write an article about that justin Bitter? It seems I'm not alone having missed sthg.
LOVE
A.
