Beach House continue their full-scale tour as they pour salt into my wound scarcely covered by a band-aid reading “I’ve never seen them before”. Seriously, I feel like I’m the only person on the face of the indie planet who hasn’t been melted by Victoria’s velvet vocals in person. My day is coming and if I have to drive 4+ hours to see them, I’m sure as hell doing it next time. Brooklyn Vegan and We Listen For You both dug up different videos from a song they played last night at their Webster Hall gig in NYC. Sure, we’ve all seen live Beach House videos before but not many where Victoria prefaces the track saying “We’re going to play a song we’ve never played before live.” The song’s called “White Moon” and is exactly what you’d expect a new Beach House tune to sound like since they’re getting better and better with each new composition: fantastic.
