[MP3] new old Sufjan Stevens: "Sofia’s Song"

Earlier this morning Sufjan Stevens was flossing his words on his frequently updated Asthmatic Kitty sidebar blog when he dropped a bomb: during his college days, he wrote and recorded a song for Sofia Coppola (as if he wasn’t already the perfect embodiment of the late twenties male hipster). Not only that, but he uploaded that song, “Sofia’s Song,” to share with his blog readers (and, just as quickly, the rest of the world).

All new Sufjan material is noteworthy (even that “rock song” he tried out a couple of years back), so here is “Sofia’s Song” »
