Lollapalooza 2006 – Chicago Is Spoiled

I’m sure many of you may already have seen this, but just in case Sufjan Stevens didn’t do Illinois and the city of Chicago enough justice with his last acclaimed album… The Windy City natives now get (another) amazing festival within their city limits. For the second year in a row!! I’m not jealous or anything, since Chicago is no more than 5 hours away, but this festival’s lineup is a combination of “amazing” and “shocking”. The possibility for on-stage artsit collaboration between Aug. 4-6 is enough to make anyone giddy.
Kanye West meets Red Hot Chili Peppers meets The Flaming Lips meets The Raconteurs?! Lollapalooza is giving musical diversity an entirely new definition.

Who would’ve seen that lineup coming??
Who knows, but I’ll be more than glad to listen.
